How to Enjoy Real Wasabi

The proper way to prepare and enjoy real fresh wasabi for maximum flavor, aroma, and heat.

CLEAN

Gently rinse the wasabi under cold running water to remove any dirt or residue. This helps preserve its natural flavor and prepares it for grating.

GRATE

Use a fine wasabi grater to grate the rhizome into a smooth paste. Grating helps release the natural compounds that create wasabi’s signature heat and aroma.

SERVE

Serve immediately for the best flavor. Freshly grated wasabi delivers a clean, aromatic heat that pairs perfectly with sushi, sashimi, and your favorite dishes.

Wow! Having authentic, fresh wasabi in our rolls was such a luxury. It was so delicate and fresh, and it really upped our sushi roll game! We feel deeply lucky to live so close to accessing such a delicious delicacy- can’t ever imagine having sushi without real wasabi ever again. And the wasabi flowers were just divine - definitely try in a roll! 5+++

At the moment, we're no longer offering farm tours. Coordinating visits takes a lot of time, and we want to stay focused on growing and shipping the best wasabi possible.

When do you ship orders?

Orders placed by Sunday at 8 p.m. Pacific time ship on Monday and typically arrive by Thursday.

Can I place an order for pickup instead of shipping?

At this time, we're not able to offer order pickups. Due to the volume of daily orders, shipping allows us to serve everyone more efficiently.
